Realme today launched the Realme 14 Pro Plus, the world's first Android phone with triple flash and temperature-sensitive color-changing back panel
Featuring a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, the Realme 14 Pro Plus runs on Realme UI 15, based on Android 6.0. It features a 6.83-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, which makes it easy to watch videos and read articles in direct sunlight.
Like the recently launched OnePlus 13R (Review), the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. As it turns out, Realme's 14 Pro Plus offers IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, which means it can easily handle underwater submersion as well as high-pressure water jets.
While these features are becoming standard on new mid-range devices, the Realme 14 Pro Plus is the first phone in the world to have a cold-sensitive colour-changing back on the Pearl White variant. The company says it has collaborated with Danish studio Valuer Designers to design the phone, which has thermochromic pigments on the back that start out white but turn blue when the temperature drops below 16 degrees Celsius.

The Realme 14 Pro Plus features a circular camera module at the back, housing a triple-camera setup. This includes a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with OIS for improved image stabilization, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope lens capable of 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless zoom, and an 8MP Sony IMX896 ultrawide lens. Additionally, the device comes with three separate flash modules that are designed to "accurately restore natural skin tones in low light conditions." It is powered by a robust 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting performance and quick recharge times.
The base variant of the Realme 14 Pro Plus, which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is currently available for Rs 29,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at Rs 34,999. Realme is also offering a discount of Rs 2,000 and an additional exchange bonus of Rs 1,000 through bank offers.
